Psophidian Press (Australian Business Number 14 187 967 688) is an independent specialist publisher founded in 2001 by Professor Peter Zablud, Solicitor and Notary of Melbourne, Australia.

From the beginning, we have sought to publish high quality, reliable and authoritative reference material for the notariat. And we have indeed done so.

Our first book 'A Notary's Forms and Precedents', was published in 2002 as a textbook for prospective notaries, but quickly became a handbook for practising notaries in Australia and New Zealand. The edition sold out in just over three months.

'Principles of Notarial Practice' is our most important publication to date. It is a seminal work, which has been enthusiastically received by practising and prospective notaries throughout the common law jurisdictions.
