Professor Peter Zablud is the Director of Notarial Studies at Victoria University's Sir Zelman Cowen Centre for Continuing Legal Education.

He was admitted to legal practice in 1970 and works extensively in corporate and business law. He is one of Australia's best known and most experienced notaries. He provides notarial services to a wide clientele, including many of Australia's largest and most significant public companies.

Professor Zablud is a Fellow of The Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries and is the Chairman of the College's Board of Governors. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Notaries of Victoria, a Councillor of the Society and a past president of the Society. He was the first Australian individual member of the International Union of Notaries.

As Director of Notarial Studies at the Cowen Centre, Peter Zablud has been responsible for the development and presentation of the Graduate Diploma of Notarial Practice - now the pre-eminent qualification for Australian notaries.

As well as teaching prospective Victorian notaries, Professor Zablud has presented notarial practice seminars and masterclasses throughout Australia and New Zealand.
